Collaroy 3Br with pool / Breath and Relax

Enjoyed our stay and the neighbour hood was very quite. Positive: Beds were very comfortable and the Pool was awesome. It was a short drive to the beach and had lots of dining options nearby. Loved the table being set which was very welcoming and the Christmas Tree all set up. Loved the bird life, kookaburras and lorikeets came to visit which was lovely. Negative: The accommodation is actually the Ground floor and not first floor.

Positive: Space and swimming pool

Positive: The place was absolutely lovely! Great location and space. Didn't notice the people upstairs at all the first day and night. Negative: Check out was at 10am, yet there was someone (presumably the owner) in the pool area all morning. We wanted a morning dip but this seemed uncomfortable with people around. They could have waited until after checkout.

Location was good for us as close to relatives. Otherwise a sub-optimal stay. Negative: Once booking was complete, we were asked for a $A500 deposit. That was immediately paid. However, it took weeks for the deposit to be repaid. Given the tone of responses to our queries for a refund, and the excuses given, most of the time I was certain we would no receive the refund. You will be requested to put out the rubbish bins if there on a Thursday. There were 7 of these, and they are not clearly marker as to those belonging to guests and those belonging to the owner (who lives on the top floor). We put out 3 but no idea if they were the right ones. There is so much car parking on the road it is difficult to place the bins for pickup. The electrics were a bit dicky. Some of the bedside lamps don't work and we had an issue with the dryer cutting out regularly. There were 8 of us staying and we were supplied towels for 6. We requested 2 more towels, which were promised but never arrived. When trying to negotiate the refund of our deposit we were queries about why they were two towels short! It was not clear who we were dealing with. At the start it was Vivian, and then a new person, Tang, got involved, so there were duplicated and cross over communications. Frustrating!

Great location, good vibes! Positive: The location was perfect as we needed somewhere close for our sporting. we enjoyed having the pool for the kids when they needed even tho it was cold they would still try. Spacious living space and dinning area, kitchen had everything. Plenty of room space to accommodate for everyone. Washing machine and dryer came in handy, glad we had those type of facilities. Accommodates for children which I really loved, when it came to bedding they were all set with what was provided. Plenty of towels. Loved that wifi was provided. Negative: I wasn’t fully aware of the arrangement of the property which totally threw me off but that was okay everything was fine. I had to clean the shower myself as I noticed it had mould and was not cleaned properly before we had arrived. More pillows could have been provided I did bring for my children but not adults. The first night not a problem but the second night was hard to sleep, a lot of noise coming from upstairs at late hours of the night or early hours of the morning waking the adults up frequently. Was a little dusty.
